Royal West Indies Resort

Royal West Indies a beachfront Turks and Caicos resort hotel

In addition to its distinctive British Colonial design, Royal West Indies is interesting for its tiered arrangement – maximizing sea and pool views. Buildings in the resort have 3 floors and floor plans are laid out as one-bedrooms with studio lockouts. This gives more flexibility in the rental pool and also works very well in instances where parents are visiting with older children. In order to take part in the rental pool, interiors have to have strict color scheme and furniture package guidelines, meaning that individual suites are distinguished principally by floor and location within the resort. The interior decor follows the Colonial theme nicely and furnishings are elegant and comfortable. Royal West Indies is a well-managed resort comparable in quality, service, and amenities to Ocean Club West, The Sands, and Ocean Club.

Royal West Indies Resort has 2 pools – one beside Pelican Bay restaurant closer to the beach, and a quieter pool in front of buildings 6, 7 & 8. The 80-foot long main pool encourages long hours of soaking and has a bridge feature and children’s wading area. The grounds in the resort are spectacular and provide a colorful, tropical backdrop to the resort’s lengthy list of amenities. This is a fantastic resort for couples looking to get away from it all. Royal West Indies is very effective in bringing guests back for subsequent visits. The location in the central Grace Bay area is convenient to the best selection of shopping and dining options that you will find in the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is also very near the Casablanca Casino and the Provo Golf Club.
